Small Business Advocates of Central Florida (SBACFL) is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated in assisting Black, minority and local small businesses in the Orlando Statistical Area (OMSA). Established in 2021 in part due to the pandemig impact on local small businesses, but more importantly to address the need for effective advocacy for small businesses.
Our mission is to increase business opportunities for Black, minority and local small businesses to impact the economic and quality of life for our local communities
Small Businesses represent 99% of all businesses in Florida and employe approximately 42% of our workfoce, that is 3.4 Million employees
Increase business opportunities for Black, minority and local small businesses and increase quality of life for their employees
From 2000 ro 2019 (pre Pandemic) small businesses created 9.2M new jobs and large businesses created 5.2M new jobs. Small businesses created 65% net of new jobs in the country
